The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences (SoLAS) is a vibrant academic community dedicated to exploring ideas, solving complex problems and understanding the world from multiple perspectives. We believe in the power of interdisciplinary learning to develop individuals who are intellectually agile, socially conscious and capable of leading in diverse contexts. By integrating the humanities, sciences and social sciences, we provide students with the tools to navigate complexity and contribute meaningfully to society.

- To be a globally recognised, technology-driven School of Liberal Arts and Sciences that nurtures critical thinkers, creative problem-solvers, and compassionate leaders through interdisciplinary learning, ethical inquiry, and innovative education.

Leadership & Faculty Profiles
The School is led by Dr. Anuradha Chatterjee, Professor and Dean, whose experience spans design practice, research, education and leadership. Under her guidance, our academic and creative direction is shaped by a vision of design as both an intellectual pursuit and a tool for societal transformation.
The diversity of our faculty’s backgrounds enriches classroom discussions, broadens creative perspectives and inspires students to push the boundaries of their own practice.
